Lights, Cameras, Chocolate. This past weekend the students from the Grade 11 and Grade 10 Performing Arts classes took us on a magical journey through the story of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
The story is about four children who find a golden ticket in a Wonka Chocolate bar and get to explore the candy factory. Throughout the tour of the factory, the children discover how their favorite candy is made, the oompa loompas while getting themselves into some mischief. At the end of the tour we learn that Willy Wonka will leave the factory to Charlie and his family.
They had the audience laughing, clapping and singing a long throughout the whole show.
Congratulations to all the students, volunteers and the teachers that make this all possible, Tina Bye, Lynn Harper and Cindel Chartrand.
A Job Well Done!
