The Ormstown club is celebrating the 4-H centennial anniversary by giving back to the community. They are calling to the rest of 4-H to help complete 100 Acts of Kindness by the end of the year. The Ormstown club’s goal is to commit one act of kindness each month. The first Act of Kindness was performed by the square dancing team. At the beginning of March they danced for seniors at the Huntingdon County Hospital. The club danced to the music of John and Connie Wilson.
Our first act of kindness was on Tuesday March 5, the Ormstown 4-H juniors square danced for the citizens of the Huntingdon County Hospital, the seniors enjoyed every minute of it and thought it was great that the children could come and dance for them. Our caller was Janice Barr and music was provided by John Wilson & Connie McClintock. Hopefully with a mixture of ideas we will reach our goal!
