Every year, as part of the program that supports the development of volunteer commitment in past-times and sports, Loisir et Sport Montérégie recognizes an organization that has shown, through its concrete actions, that it promotes volunteering and supports volunteers in its area. This year, Loisir et Sport Montérégie is proud to present the 2014-2015 Recognition Award to Vision Bénévolat Haut-Saint-Laurent. Congratulations!
Vision Bénévolat Haut-Saint-Laurent would like to mention the commitment of the Municipality of Sainte-Barbe, which joined by Saint-Chrysostome, Saint-Anicet, Très-Saint-Sacrement and the MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent implemented measures that aim to support the development of volunteer commitment in their respective communities for the coming years. These municipalities now belong to a movement of trailblazing players and partners in the Haut-Saint-Laurent that consider it important to revitalize volunteer commitment. The overall goal of Vision Bénévolat Haut-Saint-Laurent is to help volunteer organizations in all volunteer sectors to modernize their governing practices in terms of today’s characteristics of a volunteer.
