Users are able to depart from any of the 13 municipalities of HSL, and the five possible destinations are Howick, Huntingdon, Ormstown, Saint-Chrysostome or Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. Prices vary based on departure and destination combination.
How does it work? Users are required to purchase a $5 membership card at the time of the first trip, the route must be the same as that of another user, and all trips are to be booked 24 hours in advance, or on Friday afternoon before 2 pm if planning to travel on that weekend.
This seven day a week service, running from 7 am to 9 pm daily, is available to residents 35 years and younger who reside in any one of the 13 municipalities of the HSL, and who are paired with another user. This user pairing offers a 50 per cent fare discount in comparison to the regular Taxibus fare.
Funded by the Forum Jeunesse Vallée-du-Haut-Saint-Laurent, Transporte-toi dans le Haut Saint-Laurent is a great opportunity for young people of the HSL to stay connected with the other municipalities as well as providing them with the affordable transportation needed to help maintain their jobs and to continue their education.
