The Little Green Library and the Municipality of Dundee are pleased to announce that a new mobile library service will be offered to residents of Dundee on the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon in the Municipal Town Hall.
Every month, volunteers from the library will bring a choice of books, based on the type of books enjoyed by the citizens and any requests they may have. These books will be for children as well as adults, in French and in English. Members will have the possibility of reserving books for the next monthly visit. Members who have access to the Internet can consult the library's catalogue on its website and reserve the books they wish to borrow in advance.
To inaugurate the new mobile service, the Library and the Municipality invite all interested children and adults to a special activity on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Town Hall. Children can participate, free of charge, in amusing games. Information on the new service will be provided and it will be possible to become a member of the library and borrow books immediately. A light snack will be served.
The Municipality of Dundee will reimburse its citizens for the annual cost of membership in the library, an amount of $20.00 for an individual or a family, and $5.00 for a youth of 15 years of age or under whose family is not already a member.
