Les Aidants Naturels du Haut-Saint-Laurent has organized a bunch of activities for the community, surrounding the important theme of family caregivers. All throughout the month of October there will be workshops, conferences and even a brunch seminar to discuss the various topics. The brunch seminar discusses the definition of a family caregiver. An eight-week workshop presents tools and resources for family caregivers and teaches them methods how to cope in order to avoid the common burnout. There is also a conference on how to eat properly when you have cancer and another one that talks about aging well, how to prevent elderly mistreatment or being a victim of ageism. Anyone can attend these events, but please note that registration is required.
