"The highlight's for me were just getting such a beautiful day and having as good a turn out for a new event. I'm a real fan of music as well and I hope everyone was as impressed as I was with the line up of talent that was on hand to entertain," says Dan Gruer, organizer of the event.
The day was also a chance to showcase the recently dubbed 'Volunteer Pavilion' - the old-fashioned timber frame structure that was built at the 100th anniversary of the Ormstown Fair. The structure is now complete with a new roof.
The last car show was in 1992 but despite its success did not continue. Gruer hopes that won't be the case this time.
"There are a few things that will need to be improved upon, beginning with dust control as priority one, I've been listening to comments and taking notes trying to take in as much info as possible when the thoughts are still fresh in everyone's head's. It is very important, I believe, to strive to improve an event and keep coming up with ways to make it more enjoyable," says Gruer.
Gruer would like to express his thanks to all his friend's hard work who helped make the event a success.
